Golden Bamboo Cafe is on Jalan Lye in Kampung Lubok Buaya, a few minutes from the noise of Pantai Cenang and built, as the name says, in bamboo. You come here when you want the morning to feel a bit softer than a main-road cafe.
It is a breakfast and daytime place: coffee, pastry, and plates such as tuna crostini, crème brûlée, pain au chocolat, and their homemade kombucha if you want something cold that is not another soda. Order, sit, and let the Cenang traffic stay on the other road.
